Following the incident on Thursday that left a construction worker in hospital with serious injuries to his neck and back, WorkCover has announced it will be investigating the cause of the accident.
The incident happened on a NSW site about 7km south of the Sydney CBD.
Paramedics arrived on the scene and treated the man who had sustained a fall from 3 meters, he was then rushed to hospital.
The construction industry is one of the most high risk and falls from height are a common cause of injury and fatalities in this industry.
