Yet another work-related accident has taken place, this time 255 kilometres north of Brisbane.
A man operating a quarry truck was injured when the vehicle rolled. He suffered apparent back injuries and was flown to Bundaberg hospital by the RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter.
The driver, who is lucky to be alive, is in a stable condition.
In the lead up to Christmas, we need to prioritize safety and ensure everyone on site is doing the same – this time of year can be a bad one for workplace injuries because workers tend to adopt a more casual approach towards work and safety.
