An incident that occurred in Victoria recently is a reminder to us about work from height safety and the importance of fall protection.
A worker has been injured on a construction site in Melbourne after falling more than 4 metres from scaffolding.
According to reports, the man in his thirties fell from scaffolding around 7:30am at a construction site on St Georges Road in Fitzroy North.
The worker had suffered head injuries and possible spinal injuries but was said to be in a stable condition.
The man had to be winched to safety by emergency crews before being transported to hospital.
