Man Airlifted After Being Crushed by a Clump of Soil

A worker was recently airlifted to Millmerran Hospital via RACQ LifeFlight helicopter, after sustaining crushing injuries to the pelvis.

It is believed the man was crushed by a clump of soil at a building site east of Millmerran.

The man, in his fifties was working in a ditch at the site when the clump of black soil rolled on him.

Paramedics were called to the scene and the man was transported to Millmerran Hospital before being flown to Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in a stable condition.
