Latest Safework Fatality Figures Released

Safe Work Australia released the latest Workplace fatality report and according to statistics, 120 Australian workers have been killed on the job since the start of 2017.

The transport, postal & warehousing industry recorded the highest number of workplace fatalities with 47 deaths so far but the construction industry was once again in the top 3, with 23 fatalities so far.

The agriculture, forestry & fishing industry had the second highest number of fatalities with 27 fatalities.
