Human Remains Unearthed at WA Museum Construction Site


Police recently confirmed the skeletal remains unearthed by construction workers at the WA Museum are human.

The discovery of the human remains was made by construction workers on James street in Northbridge recently. The site was shut down as homicide squad detectives investigated.

Officials removed the remains, assessed the scene and are now conducting forensic testing.

Investigators are trying to discover how the remains came to be there, with the building serving as housing for convicts before it became a museum.
