How to avoid a Construction Worker Shortage

In the US similarly to Australia, there is a boom in construction giving rise to a construction worker shortage.

In an article on ForConstructionPros.com the writer suggests proactively engaging workers before the construction ‘rush’, perhaps in the winter, or year end as projects begin to slow.

Unfortunately while there are shortages waiting to be filled, there are other means that need to be considered such as mechanization, shift work and training apprentices to help fill labour shortages and gain skills needed to maintain a productive construction industry in the future.
