Remember the horrific construction accident in 2015 which claimed the lives of 2 Irish tradies in East Perth, well their former site manager has been cleared of all charges related to the incident.
The man was cleared by a magistrate who said WorkSafe prosecutors had failed to prove their case beyond reasonable doubt.
The 2 young workers had been smoking when a massive concrete panel fell and crushed them.
The site manager in charge of the site was charged for failing to ensure an exclusion zone was set up. WorkSafe also alleged that the man failed to ensure the order the panels were being unloaded from the truck did not cause a risk.
