Construction Worker Hospitalised

A man was seriously injured after falling from a scaffold at a work site in northeast Victoria.

The scaffold which the man was working on, tipped over, causing him to fall and land on the ground.

The incident happened at a property near Wodonga, around 8:45am.

The man, in his 50s was doing electrical work on a shed when the incident occurred.

He was taken to hospital for treatment.

This incident is a stark reminder to us all about the importance of safety when working from scaffolding and in fact when working from height in general.

WorkSafe Victoria’s investigation is ongoing.
