Civil Construction Company Fined over Roller Death

The devastating consequences of failing to provide a safe work environment and safe system of work has been highlighted by an incident that happened in 2017.

A Brooklyn civil construction firm has been charged by WorkSafe over the death of a worker crushed by a road roller in Mildura.

The 58 year old man was crushed while loading the roller onto a truck in October 2017.

The company was charged with 2 offences for failing to provide a safe working environment.
