Research from the University of Technology (UTS) for the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) revealed that students from both all-girls government and non-government schools were more likely to be offered enrolment in Construction Project Management university degrees.
Researchers found one of the concerns girls had about work on construction sites is that they would be holding lollipop signs to control traffic.Girls also had the perception that not many women worked at a high level in construction.
